ABE house by UAo

Designed by Urban Architecture Office, ABE House is a family residence in Tama-Shi, Tokyo. Built on three levels; this home is a concrete beauty made up of clean lines and balanced geometries. 

The Cutty Sark - Greenwich, London

The Cutty Sark conservation project was undertaken by Grimshaw architects, and the last surviving tea clipper is now proudly displayed as part of the Royal Museums, in Greenwich, London. The 963 tonne national treasure was built in 1869 and represents the finest of 19th century iron and timber shipbuilding techniques.

When Beijing based MAD Architects were commissioned by the Municipal Government of Ordos in Inner Mongolia to design the planned Art + City Museum, they were given free rein to create a structure which would protect the cultural heritage of the area and connect it to the future of this wealthy region.

The Arch in Mandal by 3XN

In the picturesque town of Mandal, in the south of Norway, 3XN architects of Denmark have recently completed the new cultural centre for its 15.000 residents. Aptly names ‘The Arch’, due to the elegant curving lines of the roof which mirror the surrounding hills and the industrial heritage of a building, which once stood on the same spot.

Kilden by ALA Architects

Kilden, a theatre and concert hall in Kristiansand, Norway, has brought together all the city's institutions of performing arts. Kilden produces experiences. The core of its architecture is the way the concert, theater and multi-purpose halls are serviced efficiently and without interference. 

El “B” by Selgascano

Designed by Madrid based architects Selgascano,  the El “B”  auditorium and performing arts complex located along the waterfront of Cartagena, Spain, was completed in late 2011. This  210m long low lying structure was inspired by the industrial heritage of the city and forms part of the transformation of the waterfront promenade.
