Casa VU is a beachside home, a project of the practice of TDC. Situated on an elevated site overlooking the ocean in Lima, Peru, it consists of a sand colored based topped by a series of white volumes, creating voids which provide the ultimate in light and shade. Through this method of positioning the geometric blocks, the residents have the opportunity to enjoy an outstanding element of privacy in which to appreciate the serene ocean views.

The living spaces, home office and en-suite guest room are situated on the upper levels with the bedrooms and second office on the lower level, culminating in a terraced area with a small pool. The unadorned geometric forms slot together harmoniously while the theme of understated simplicity is continued in the interior.

Generous transparencies lead out onto terraces where a minimal palette does not distract from the Zen like ambience of the spaces, allowing the ocean views and surroundings to dominate in this quiet ocean retreat.
