Designed in close collaboration between the architects and the clients, this impressive residence fulfills the specification for a generously sized home for a family of four who do a great deal of entertaining.

The well positioned site in Melbourne, Australia, played a vital role in the design of the house, thus masonry and zinc has been used on the elegant two storey facade which looks out onto the street. The  three storeys at the rear of the house overlook the tennis courts and the river affording breathtaking views, thanks to the floor to ceiling glazing, with sheltered balconies and terraces. The addition of the infinity pool, deck and barbecue dining areas complete the picture of a perfect family home and a welcoming venue for guests.

The architects injected their love of the environment into the design by using a mix of durable and sustainable materials, zinc, bluestone, recycled timber, polished concrete and stainless steel, ensuring a low maintenance future for this contemporary home.
