On a 2800 m2 rectangular plot, in a residential complex in Madrid, Spain, A- Cero architects decided to position their new stunning creation. Loyal to their architectural style, they once again embodied elegance, boldness and minimalism into this single family residence.

Simple in its looks, yet augmented with dramatic splashes of colors and avant-garde furniture, the Memory House stays true to the identity of Joaquin Torres Architects. Constructed of ventilated stone, white marble and bamboo wood, the house is effortlessly integrated into the surrounding Mediterranean pine and oak trees that decorate the property. As usual the interior space is wide and full of natural light which mixes beautifully with the white color scheme and the accents of warmer browns and greys. For the flooring, cream polished marble has been chosen in the living room area, whereas in the bedrooms Havana oak takes the centerstage. The kitchen’s finish is in wood and white corian, following the general ambience of futuristic clean cut lines and curving shapes prevailing throughout the project. The first floor accommodates 3 ensuite bedrooms, whereas the living room, kitchen, storage and the master bedroom and dressing room are situated on the ground floor. The basement contains a garage and a service area.

A magnificent piece of architecture, with distinct identity, the Memory House is, reasonably, the new proud creation of A-cero.
