As part of the Interna Legacy event of the 2012 Fuorisalone, the contemporary installation was designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini in collaboration with FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti and erected in the courtyard of the University of Milan.

The laser-cut  and finished ceramic slabs which were used in the construction of the sculpture resembles the quarry stone of a traditional Italian tower. It represents the heritage of the country in the form of the monolith or aristocratic structure of the past.

A mesh of eco-friendly led illumination has been inserted into the core of the installation, a myriad of lights which change constantly, a homage to the human mind which is in perpetual motion. As a whole, the piece is a symbol, a connection with the traditions of the past to the technology of the present and the future.
