The house is built on a slope in a quiet area in the upmarket area of Ekali. The two storey residence faces a courtyard on two sides embracing the living spaces, which are on the ground floor, while the bedrooms and common room are on the first floor.

The geometric layout of the structure within the site assists the architects in their utilization of the site as a whole. The glass parapets and the extensive glazing of the residence allow natural daylight to flood the interior and tempers the distinction of the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Stainless steel has been used for the metallic structures of the exterior, such as the arbours, as this allows a colour reference with the aluminium window frames. The choice of Pietra Serena as the paving material of the courtyard, harmonizes perfectly with the reinforced concrete base of the house.

The structural details and the element of intentional elimination was a deliberate aim of the designers to provide the residents of the house with a tranquil living environment.
