Located on the outskirts of Santa Fe, New Mexico is a spectacular low lying series of structures. They constitute the ranch of Tom Ford, a design project of the highly acclaimed Japanese architect, Tadao Ando.

Spread out over an area of 100.000 square meters of arid desert land, the introduction of the starkly modern concrete walls with clean minimalist lines, surprisingly merge harmoniously with their location, creating spaces of light and shade.

The rustic colour palette and meticulous attention to detail, the raw concrete walls and the creative introduction of a sleek roadway over a small lake, characterise the tone of the project. The ranch exudes an air of beauty and perfection which simply could not be improved upon.
