This contemporary home in Toronto was built by Belzberg Architects even though they were not responsible for the original design. The deceivingly simple geometric shape of the external facade becomes an exceptional living space on entering the home. High ceilings, open spaces and beautiful wooden floors, complemented by the irregular shaped handcrafted staircase all come together to provide a sophisticated family home in a beautiful setting.

The open plan living and dining space is on the ground floor and the bedrooms are on the upper level.  The floor to ceiling glazing looks out onto a covered terrace with lounging area and steps lead down into a generous garden and woodland setting, the colors of which complement the neutral color scheme of the interior. A stretch of grass and a swimming pool, complete the idyllic scene of laid back elegance as seen in the brilliant execution of this uncomplicated but impeccably designed home.
