Arnhem Mode Biennale for a brief spell opens the door to the fantasy world that is called fashion. This fourth edition is a true exploration of the three main locations in the historical Dutch city (including the Museum for Modern Art) that each shows a different side of fashions wonderful persona. Fashion plays a part in everyone’s daily life but to what extent? The main exhibition focuses on the vision of the designer. Through more than thirty installations that were especially designed and created for the biennale, they show the visitor that fashion is much more than just a piece of clothing. Music, scent, film and photography are tools the designers use to bring to life their world, and their vision on fashion.
