Christophe Gilbert, Brussels based photographer, most likely inherited at least part of his talent from his artistic parents. His mother was a photographer and his father, initially in advertising, became an artist. Born in the 60s, his first introduction to photography was at the age of nine when he was presented with his first Kodak Instamatic. After a turbulent adolescence he served an apprenticeship with a car photographer in the 80s before becoming a professional in his own right. Enjoying the challenges that metallic surfaces offered and the constantly changing concepts of commercial photography, the artist realized that he had found his niche.

Gilbert combines the world of photography and advertising with a unique vision, his work is widely accepted as an art form. This high ranking commercial photographer personally manages every step of the image making process, ensuring high quality results each time. His passion, humor, perspective and almost manic attention to detail have made him a sought after image maker for firms from Volkswagen to Porsche and from Samsonite to Eurostar.
