Exclusively for Delood
In my profession, the architectural lines, curious shapes and design in general, have always fascinated and formed a source of inspiration for me. However, it is light which allows this inspiration to rise to the surface or prevents it from materializing.
About a year ago, on a break from a photographic session in an old warehouse in Gazi, I noticed a ray of light entering the building through a crack of the shutters of a sealed window, creating an enchanting detail which gifted life to the dark environment of the warehouse as if by magic.
Since then, I have sought similar details within my work. It may have been a staircase, a window, a wall, the way in which they were illuminated or how light was permitted to enter gave me the same positive feeling together with an emotional charge.
My aim is, after the presentation of delood.com, moments with light immortalized this year, is to continue my quest , soon to become the subject of an exhibition of my photographs.
