The F/W Collection of L.A. based menswear brand, Odyn Vovk, was recently showcased at the Kiev Fashion Week. Designer for the brand, Austin Sherbanenko, when asked why he had chosen Kiev, replied that his roots were from the Ukraine, even though he doesn’t relate to any particular country.

The collection carries a note of eccentricity, as does its designer, a selection of drop crotch pants, layers, drapes, knee length zip up tops and hooded cardigans in canvas, leather and linen plus a variety of artificially textured fabrics, a trademark of the brand which is just as much of the design as its form. Basic colours are black and grey with off white pants worn with leather lace up shoes and boots.

The collection came about through a spirit of spontaneity, Sherbanenko creates instinctively without foreplanning or structure. He states, ‘My works reflects my youth and being inspired by anything that sparks my curiosity.’
