Ron Mueck Show at Hauser & Wirth
Hauser + Wirth, in London’s prestigious Savile Row, is hosting the long awaited solo exhibition of London based, Australian artist, Ron Mueck.
The artist is well known for the hyper-realistic human forms of his sculptures, perfect in every detail. His work almost resembles unlikely 3D photography of
realism, rescaled and presented to his public in a most unglamorous form. Formerly trained as a puppet maker, his previous work has held a degree of magic and mystery. The four sculptures in this show are, however, a comment on the strengths and weaknesses of mankind and a social conscience on the stance of humanity within our society.
The exhibition ends on May 26th. 2012
