Biomega, the iconic manufacturers of inter-city bicycles have introduced two new additions to their collection. Being in the habit of searching out top designers for their bikes, Ross Lovegrove was commissioned and designed the LDN bike while the NYC bike is the work of Danish design group KiBiSi.

The LDN has a frame made from carbon fibre sheets which have been shaped and layered to ensure a light one piece form. Inspired by the wishbone and incorporating a hole which facilitates hanging and storing, the bike is fitted with the most up to date features available, making it an efficient form of transport for city dwellers. The LDN is custom made to order and it comes in colours, Aspen Pearl White, African Yellow and Raw Carbon.

The NYC follows on from the Biomega bicycle CPH, reviving the name of Biomega as world leaders as producers of chainless bikes. Powered by a fibre belt drive this aluminium framed bike will be available from the spring of 2011 in the colours, Aspen Pearl, White, African Yellow, Aluminium Silver and Dragon Black.
