These colourful hand-blown pendant globes are designed by young Swedish designer Johan Lindsten for the Italian interiors firm of Capellini. Inspired by the Fukushima nuclear disaster, Johan Lindsten has created the lamps as reference to the tragic event through the design of a beautiful object.

The globes have a protruding dip at the bottom where the internal bulbs rests, it appears as though the bulb is about to melt the shade and fall through it. The lamps may be used individually or in multiple variations of lines or groups. They are available in clear glass or a variety of hues including grey, pink, tobacco, blue, amethyst and amber.
