Andrea Francesconi is a young Italian designer who is interested in the merging of traditional crafts within his contemporary designs. His project, Mushrooms is realized through the collaboration of ceramist Bertolin and glassworker Pietro Viero resulting in the creation of a beautiful functional storage object.

The vessels are made of recycled ceramic which creates a cylindrical base of different heights, topped by sleek glass bowls in various shapes and sizes. An experimental low-tech project which references the alternative way in which the designer sees life. A series of contemporary objects produced from materials used by humanity from prehistoric times for both decorative and household objects.
