Lako Bukia, also known as Lali, is a young fashion designer from Georgia. In spite of her tender age, she was born in 1987, she has completed her studies both in her native country as well as at Central Saint Martins in London. She now resides and designs from her studio in London and has presented a series of collections to an ever growing following.

Her Georgian inspired avant garde clothes are the product of a designer confident in her ability to survive and thrive in the competitive world of fashion
design.  She was chosen among the 30 Georgian designers who took part in the fashion show, “Days of Peace,” dedicated to the Russian-Georgian conflict, in addition to her three personal collections already shown in London and Europe. She has also recently worked on a project with fashion stylist Katie Burnett and is constantly increasing her knowledge and expanding her horizons.

Her distinctive designs are a contrast of shapes - structured and flowing, fabrics - metallics and transparencies, chiffon and leather joined to produce an edgy fashion statement, collections for   strong courageous women who have the strength to survive and succeed, in fact women very much like Lali herself.
