With a father optician and a mother designer, eyewear was obviously destined for French designer Thierry Lasry. Launched in late 2006, the self entitled brand is based on the concept of «futuristic vintage». Thierry gets his inspirations from vintage designs and materials but incorporate an updated modern and avant-gardiste touch to those.

Entirely hand-made in France with the best craftsmanship techniques and traditional know-how, the sunglasses only use acetates coming from the old Italian house Mazzucchelli. No over-sized logos appear on the temples: creativity and quality serve the trademark of the brand.

Since its launch, the collection enjoys a continuous and daily exposure in the international fashion publications like "Vogue", "W", "Elle", "Marie-Claire", "Glamour", "Teen Vogue", "L’Officiel", "InStyle", "WWD", etc.
Fans include celebrities like Madonna, Eva Mendes, Dita Von Teese, Jessica Alba, Alessandra Ambrosio, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Anne Hathaway, Alicia Keys, Beyonce or Fergie …

Thierry has also done a handful of collaborations as well, the most high-profile of which are with Swedish brand ACNE (S/S11 Men & Women + Fall 2011 Men), Warner Bros for Colette (DC Comics 75th Anniversary June 2010), Thai brand Sretsis (SS10), music band Liquid Architecture and visual artist Thomas Lelu (June 2009 + March 2011) or American designers Peter Som (S/S09 & S/S11) & Rebecca Taylor (S/S10 + Fall11).

By following a very selective distribution Policy, the Thierry Lasry collection is now stocked in about 30 countries in the world… in the best concept stores, department stores and optical boutiques.
