This 50 sq.m. apartment, situated in Madrid, on the attic of an early 20th century classic building and designed by Spanish architect Hector Ruiz-Velaszquez, contains a technologically advance secret which ensures multifunctionality, continuous transition and total freedom of space. Its secret lies beneath the creation of multiple layers and partitions, which transform the apartment into a three dimensional object; every room and point can be located by specifying the axis of its coordinates.

Using different heights, with effortless flow and allowing guests to explore the space, the architect managed to create a space which offers a new experience as far as spatial flexibility is concerned. Its main material is no secret; ceramic is the protagonist of this home, as it unfolds throughout the space, inventing new angles for its use. Specially treated, ceramic offers versatility of application, as well as a touch of luxury and modernity. The all- white, almost sterile look is interrupted by a careful selection of classic furniture, adding warmth to this clean and minimal atmosphere.

An innovative housing concept which embraces openness, airiness and allows the space to adapt to its owners’ actual necessities. An unconventional and innovative way of marrying functionality and ergonomics with contemporary architectural design!
