The Montparnasse Tower in Paris has always been a popular tourist destination because of its spectacular views of the well known landmarks of the city. Now however, after the redesigning and total refurbishment of the 56th floor by well known French designer, Noe Duchaufour Lawrance, the Ciel de Paris restaurant is in direct competition with the views from its expansive bay window.

The concept of ‘an amber bubble of light’ is apparent from the discrete soft golden lighting of this modern stylish restaurant. The black ceiling mirrors reflect the lights of the space, the central bar has concealed lighting at its base. The interior designer is also responsible for the bespoke furnishings and has continued the amber tones in his comfortable leather dining chairs. The soft grey background of the walls and floor coverings create a serene background and allow an uninterrupted  play of lights on the gleaming surfaces.

Far from being simply a tourist spot, the Ciel de Paris now ranks as a worthy destination for the most discriminating Parisian clientele.
