Since the inauguration of the first Conran Shop in 1973, the name of Conran has become synonymous with excellence in the design of furniture and household products in the global market. Sir Terence Conran has recently handed the reins to his uber-talented son, Jasper Conran who, together with the shop’s in-house team, have reinvented the concept of the Marylebone Street shop, while still retaining the ethos of quality and style which existed in the original establishment.

The New Conran Shop in the exciting shopping area of Marylebone High Street, just a stone’s throw from London’s West End, is housed in a former stable building. Covering three levels, the upper level is organized as a loft like penthouse space known as The Ultimate Conran Apartment. It is here that a carefully curated selection of designer furniture and vintage pieces are accompanied by original works of art, light fittings and decorative objects which come together as a luxurious example of a ‘money no object’ residence.

In the middle level the Kitchen Shop exhibits a number of table settings, a lighting section and a textiles department. On the ground floor, an entirely new direction for Conran is seen with a collaboration with Caravan and St. John’s Bakery, serving beverages and refreshments in a cozy seating area. A flower stall, a vibrant children’s department, gift section and E-Tech area plus music and perfumed candles completes the mouthwatering selection of goods at the new Conran Shop. All in all it can be defined as a mini-departmental store and an exciting ‘one stop destination’ in Marylebone High Street!
