This grand and eclectic 395 m2 loft apartment is located in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, NY and was designed by studioMDA for the painter and sculptor artist Jonny Detiger. The designers' unusual approach regarding the internal structure and decor, add a hint of spectacular to the character of the apartment.

Contrary to the neighborhood’s style, where open plan is common practice, studioMDA has chosen to separate the living from the sleeping areas to ensure privacy and the distinct identity of each space. Originality and elegance prevail throughout the decorative choices and materials, giving a gallery-like persona to the loft.

The selection of exquisite pieces of furniture, the mixture of patterns and textures and the striking color scheme, all give to the space a majestic and sophisticated look. This grand feeling is enhanced by the contrast between glossy, light reflecting surfaces and deep, rich use of textures. The achromatic color palette of black, grey and white is accented by splashes of gold, enhancing the touch of modernity and luxury. A perfect balance between elegant style and contemporary living.
