After the success of the Fabrica Kreaton, in Komotini, Greece, Minas Kosmidis of Architecture in Concept, has designed the Farma Kreaton. Tucked away behind a two storey building in Komotini, the contemporary rural theme is immediately apparent by the wooden planks of the facade with piles of straw and pots of fresh flowers at the entrance.

In the interior, there are two indoor and one outdoor dining spaces, surrounded by delightful cut-outs of farm animals, a stable with horses and a chicken coop together with nesting boxes is next to a long family table. A strong element of wood prevails in the furniture, ceiling and flooring. The main wall is decorated with a charming wall mural of a rural scene, executed in a childish story book fashion. Black metal light shades and external pipes, storage shelves with farm produce, bottles, barrels and milk cartons, in fact, everything that one would find ‘down on the farm’ is present in the fascinating decor of this extraordinary provincial dining destination.
