In the heart of London’s West End stands a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse, Home House. So named after a society lady, Elizabeth, Countess of Home, who commissioned the building in 1773 by James Wyatt with interiors by the legendary Robert Adam. It remains one of the finest examples of its era in London today. Throughout history many famous and infamous characters have resided here from the aristocrat, Earl Grey (of tea fame) to convicted spy, Anthony Blunt.

Now however, together with the two adjacent buildings, it is the location of one of the new age Private Members’ Clubs. The Home Club is different from private clubs of the past,  membership here promises to offer  glamorous alternatives  to everyday activities whatever they may be. Fine dining, sports, personal trainers in the fully equipped gym, parties, events and happenings are just a taste of the facilities offered by this destination. The fusion of interiors between the three houses include a bar, The Vaults, a space for decadent evenings in black leather, gold and animal prints designed by Resource Bespoke Solutions and bar and reception area by Zaha Hadid with details by Candy and Candy.

All of this alongside sweeping staircases, sparkling antique chandeliers over oriental rugs, and hotel rooms, each room with its own fascinating history, and the promise of a unique experience. A dramatic juxtaposition of the old and the new, the classic and the contemporary. Run by a team experienced in the fields of hospitality and gastronomy, their concept is a ‘Pleasure Palace’, and this certainly appears to have become a reality.
