The new suite on the 7th floor of the IASO Maternity Hospital, one of the most modern maternity hospitals of Europe, redesigned by PROPLUSMA ARKITEKTONES in 2014. Main aim of architects Eugenia Manta & Michail Provelengios was to create a space that exudes a sense of hospitality of a private home combined with the dynamics of a luxury hotel. Through architectural design, project approaches with particular sensitivity and respect for the user, incorporating the study all the specifications required by a hospital room.
The simple lines, luxury materials and textures form a contemporary setting and relaxing stay. The architects have insisted on management of natural lighting. To this end, they chose to use innovative shading systems that allow quick and easy switching between absolute light and total darkness.
For the furnishing of the suite, in addition to cooperation with the known Deloudis companies such as B&B Italia and Herman Miller, PROPLUSMA ARKITEKTONES designed extra special custom made items.
