The KNRDY restaurant is the design of SUTO Interior Architects. Located in a space which includes a courtyard of a 100 year old building, it is on a main street in downtown Budapest, Hungary.

With the concept of an American steakhouse, New York street scenes feature strongly within the decor of the 40 seat space. The kitchen is visible behind a glass wall as is the meat cabinet where customers may select the steak of their choice to be cooked to order. A vivid urban industrial energy is apparent by the grey and black surfaces, plastered white brick wall and the black metal fittings throughout the space.

A design statement is made by the choice of furniture, red bar chairs by Ronan + Erwan Bouroullec, tables and chairs by Tom Dixon and lights by Artemide Tolomeo and the Chasen floor lamp by Patricia Urquiola which all join to make this a very chic urban eatery.
