Located in Cheongdam-Dong, the trendy Gangnam-Gu region of Seoul, is the exclusive retail concept store, My Boon. Inspired by a statement of the client, ‘My Style, My Body, My Soul’, the store is a one stop destination in which to satisfy the most discriminating customer. The interior was designed by the New York practice of Jaklitsch-Gardner Architects who began by defining the 622 sq.m. space into three specific zones in which to display high end fashion and accessories, beauty cosmetics and vitamins and finally art, movies and books.

A continuous element of a wooden louvered ceiling visually connects the three black framed zones, punctuated by a spectacular marble clad juice bar/cafe which mirrors the healthy lifestyle ethos of the store. An interesting mix of materials and textures, most with raw or refined industrial elements have been employed, from the hand trowelled concrete finishing on the walls to the recycled wood and stacked concrete planks on which the clothes and accessories are displayed.

This luxurious concept store exhibits its urban sophistication through the polished stainless steel shelving and stunning white glass installation above the bar, all visible through the transparencies at each end of the double entry space, tempting passers-by to indulge in a session of hedonistic retail therapy to satisfy their sense of style through a holistic experience!
