Description from Max Zambelli

I started working at the early age of 14 both from the desire of an economic independence and a liberation from books which I had not yet learned to love. I was restless, curious and in search to fill the void. I finally found fulfilment at 20 when I had the fortune to work with Nadir and Sandra. The former, a master of photography who guided me through the understanding of image, light and models and the latter, equally significant in my progress in the areas of organisation and client and media liaison.

I was honoured to share this pinnacle period of Nadir and Sandra's professional life, a truly magical journey. The experience absorbed me from dawn to late nights and took me to the most luxurious hotels, haute couture in Paris, remote villages in Guatemala and led me to face challenges of all sorts. I learned the techniques and tricks of the trade and became conscious of my new found ability of overcoming all obstacles.

At 46, I now have 20 years of experience as a professional photographer and have moved from fashion to architecture and interior design. I find these new worlds similarly alluring, allowing me to meet the most interesting of personalities in the intimacy of their homes. Another field of photographic survey is that regarding production-related design or fashion. Communicating and transferring a company philosophy through my images, creativity and research inspires me immensely and fulfils my personal desire to express both heart, soul and mind through the lens.
