Because a film is a journey, a constantly renewed experience, the Pathé cinemas designed by Ora-ïto invite you in the boarding area. Bag but without the mind turned towards the horizon, the viewer is welcomed into a space designed as an airport of the future. Counters and ticketing kiosks, waiting areas and relaxation, checking tickets and access to cinemas ... All suggesting pleasure, relaxation and excitement. Ready for take-off?
The first of its kind is located on the banks of the Seine, in the revival of Beaugrenelle centre. Through this "Parisian flagship" Ora-ïto flaunts his vision of a "different cinema" and revolutionizes current codes, but also the consumption patterns of moviegoers.
The architecture is optimized but refined, traditional posters became animated digital displays, the lobby is open to the street with its large windows and offers visitors a multitude of services including a café with views, concierge and educational workshops for children.
For the first time in its history, Gaumont-Pathé, the number one French cinemas decided upon redesigning its visual identity and architecture. The sculptural Pathé Beaugrenelle is only the first step in a long march ahead. Ten multiplexes are currently in development throughout France whose openings will succeed in the coming months.

Because "the first film is the river" (Jean Renoir), the space unfolds in a cinematic fluidity. The path that leads the viewer to the lobby and to his seat resembles a platform within soft dramatization of spaces. In its way, the architecture here is a film course. Before the lights go out inside the screening rooms, the show has already started. Upon entering the lobby, visitors are immediately absorbed into a screenplay. All architecture is to stage the film promise and desire to escape. Undulating wave, structuring the ceiling protects envelope and caress the audience. The choice of materials warming, Corian ® mixed with oak offers the perfect combination of a genuine and reassuring atmosphere. We are then immersed in a fluid path forms, guided intuitively and become actors in a sequence worthy production "box office." The lobby mute plateau. The cinema has a total of 10 rooms from 141 to 376 seats for a total of 1933 places. It also has one of the largest displays of Paris: 18 meters wide and it is the only cinema in Paris with two rooms equipped with Dolby Atmos sound system, the latest audio technology for total immersion in the film.
