The Rocambolesc Gelateria in Girona is the brainchild of Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca, the 2nd best restaurant in the world! As one would expect, it is a unique destination serving up an imaginative selection of ice cream and more!

The concept of an old fashioned ice-cream factory is delightfully interpreted by Barcelona based Studio Sandra Tarruella Interioristas in the form of a wonderland of candy canes, gauges and buttons together with flashing lights and buzzers. It is a fantasy place full of nostalgia for an era when ice-cream was actually made from dairy produce. In this case it is, as each day the gourmet team at the Michelin starred El Celler deliver an assortment of six experimental flavors of ices and their accompaniments as well as candies and desserts to the Gelateria and their hordes of eager customers.
