The creative minds behind the vibrant atmosphere of this compact apartment in Taiwan, are no others but the practice of Ganna Studio. Their intention was a minimal design aesthetic maintained throughout the open plan, clearly defined spaces. While preserving the basic structural elements of the apartment, most standard doors were replaced by sliding doors, creating a clear multi-level openness through the visual connection between the spaces.

The simple color palette of grey provides an ideal backdrop for the colorful furniture to pop out, including a stunning aquamarine wall unit in the master bedroom; an uncomplicated space with an interesting transparency into the en-suite bathroom. The dimensions of the spaces direct the preference for small items of furniture to expand the perception of the available space.

Bright playfully colorful elements continue with the fluorescent green and orange in the guest bathroom and the decorative objects, mirrors and vases distributed around the space. Although a contemporary design, the interesting choice of contrasting items of furniture add an eclectic touch in the plastic, metal and wood rocking chair by the vintage type chests which function as the side and coffee tables. Ganna Studio have done an extremely solid job following a concept of youthful edginess, while creating this visually exciting contemporary interior.
