Designed in 2011 by the young Brazilian architect Guilherme Torres, this 50m2, two-storey apartment is located in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Expressing himself through a contemporary design language, with a hint of pop, Torres has a tendency to distinguish himself through the vibrancy and playfulness of his interiors.

The cement textured coating used on the walls and the hard wood flooring, provide a quite background that allows the retro vintage pieces of furniture to stand out. Chromatic games are used repeatedly in his designs; here, with colour accents in different tones of reds, oranges and blues on shinny, reflective surfaces. The electrical wiring systems are exposed throughout the apartment, adding an unconventional and funky touch to the space.

Studio Guilherme Torres has brilliantly created a playful, modern and avant-garde apartment with personality within every detail of the space.
