Artist Alan Sailer has created a totally original form of art photography, he appears to have interpreted the childhood curiosity of ‘what would happen if.....’ within his photographic images. With a background in photography and engineering, Alan Sailer has created a shooting range inside his garage but his targets range from food to toys, household objects to candies, in fact anything colorful and interesting.

What happens next is that he fires missiles at the targets, pellets or marbles, and the exact moment of impact is captured on film. His system of capturing the moment through a micro-second guided spark flash was hand built by him following online information.

Anyone who sees the work of this artist cannot fail but be enthralled by the selection of previously unseen images and the magic of this is that no matter how many times he repeated the exercise, a different result would emerge which makes these images all the more fascinating!
